It is not the party system that divides us. It is the fact that one party has become utterly UN-American. Bipartisanship has done nothing more than accelerate the destruction of our federal system of governance. Amash & others on the right need to understand that. If they don’t we’re going to increasingly divide until we hit a point of no return & things start getting bloody.
Given Amash's background, I don't think he has qualms with one party being utterly UN-American. In fact, he probably sympathizes with that worldview no matter how loudly he claims to be a champion of "Liberty" and "the Constitution" and blah blah blah...
