In a series of tweets early Tuesday, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey announced that he has ordered the Arizona Commerce Authority to withdraw all financial incentive dollars to encourage Nike to add a manufacturing plant in the Valley.
Nike has planned a massive shoe manufacturing plant in Goodyear, with an initial investment of $184.5 million. The plant would create over 500 full-time jobs.
NO, they will go to Vietnam where your communists apparatchiks middle men friends will make bundle while overseeing the stoop slaves.
I am convicted that the main platform of the GOP is to chase industry out of the USA and to keep American wages as low as possible. What a party.
convicted = convinced
It hard enough to get manufacturing ON shored now we give them excuses to move to Vietnam etc. The GOP shoots itself in their own foot again.
Your support for Nike, the Anti American company, is leftist at the root.
For a conservative Freeper, it is unbecoming
“500 good jobs “
That will go to some other State. The jobs aren’t lost.
If you would crawl out from under your rock and look aaround, you could observe that you are wrong
My prediction is they will now have the excuse to keep manufacturing off shore. Probably Vietnam.
Oh, I’m sure they will, but I’d rather people bought better shoes from people that don’t hate America.
Fact is that we Americans have never fought back against those that hate America and it has cost us a lot more than 500 jobs. It has cost us millions of jobs, all because we were afraid to take a stand as one job after another left our shores, or as one company after another found that hatred of America to be profitable.
Let’s take a stand and let those that hate the USA leave this country.
Ok fine GOPers, then where are the uniform across the board import tariffs? Hmmmmm? This is a stupid loss of jobs to make a point and to give companies another more excuse to off shore. Lose-Lose.
