SF lawmakers push to let noncitizens hold Democratic Party positions

State lawmakers from San Francisco proposed legislation Friday that would allow noncitizens to participate in Democratic Party politics as state convention delegates and county committee leaders.

State law now limits noncitizens’ ability to participate in party politics. Supporters of the new proposal noted that Democrats dominate California politics, and said it was important for noncitizens to have a say in party policymaking.

“We need to continue to send a very, very loud message that we are ... going to embrace and uplift and support all American immigrant neighbors,” state Sen. Scott Wiener, D-San Francisco, said at a news conference at which he and other Democrats unveiled his bill, SB288.

He said it would counter Trump administration policies that have “caused enormous fear and anxiety” among many immigrants.

The Democrat Party is the party of non-citizens and the Republican Party is the party of citizens.

NEXT--We should demand that these illegal immigrants be allowed in all unions (Teachers Unions,Construction, Loading Docks, etc) and especially be in charge of these unions as union bosses. Many of these "Guests" controlled similar groups in their country. Some would call those "Cartels", but let's just stick with the "Union" label.

These unions would build that wall quickly if that was even thought of doing.

There is a long history of non-citizens including illegals in Republican party organizations....especially anti-communist non-citizens who fled communist countries.... but also anti-PRI non-citizens who fled Mexican corruption and continued to oppose corruption in Illinois.

Part of the silliness of “Russian Collusion” is that there is a long history of non-citizens using their freedom of speech to speak politically.

A line is drawn on giving non-citizens money for political activity eg Christopher Steele. But I know many non-citizens who were paid money on the staff of Political Organizations in Chicago.

A line is drawn at non-citizens voting. I have known thousands of non-citizens and have never seen one vote. Nor have I heard a fellow activist ever name a non-citizen who voted. (I have read of 1 case in FL and 1 case in TX where a non-citizen voted.)

Remember, the First Amendment is in the Constitution right before the 2nd Amendment.
