Yes I caught wind of this scuffle while watching a live feed of the event yesterday. Hope she is ok.
The best video Ive seen on the event. It was chaos. Obviously unplanned. Stephanie Grisham shoved NK security aside to make a path for the US press pool to get by. Didn’t look like she got injured.
Amazing video.

Quite a day.
What a load.
The meet was incredibly historic and the lib US media is desperate to take the focus off that.
Bruises.
ALL OUT brawl:
Fiction.
Hey, at least she didnt get a shoe to the face.
I haven’t watched the video, but shoving any security detail guarding three presidents I’d not a good idea. Why didn’t she gesture permission to pass instead?
Bump
"Photo op," and "All Out Brawl," or "Brawl" was the press talking memo. A meeting that was supposed to last 5-7 minutes turned out to be over an over--behind closed doors. You didn't hear much about that.
It was totally the fault of the press. Arrogant, self-entitled animals...watch the video.
Over an hour meeting!
The US press pool had permission, it might have been a language barrier problem.
It’s at 12:25 in the video.
A fitting reminder as we approach Independence Day of what we fought to establish and what we continue to fight to maintain.
The 1stA only exists within our territory.
No it wasn’t the fault of the press, she was clearing a way for the US press pool to pass. I don’t think she got injured at all.
It’s at 12:25 in the video.
They probably had the permission, but communication / translation problems no doubt. Still shoving guards is not a good idea.
Did any of the guys get “injured” - or was it just the women?
Don’t judge me, this is an honest question.
Great link. First I've seen of the press conference.
Once again, after the press was dismissed, they met for an hour behind closed doors. That is being down played, as well as the press conference.
Photo-op and brawl were the buzz words this morning.
I always thought brawl was plural for female teen. I have never seen it used in this context
It wasn’t a brawl but it was certainly chaos and confusion.
NK Korean security (or SK not sure) was rigid and determined to give the NK press predominant positions and relegated US press to the back. There was “discrimination” if you will. NK press probably wanted to make sure they were in complete control of the message.
NK is not used to having western press running around so it was a clash of cultures and control.
Kim did not smile much and wanted to look tough for NK consumption.
