I’m sure at the time they were considered great and they DID teach great values.
However, I cannot stay at my 86 year old mother’s place for too long when old westerns are on for fear I will run into the street after 2 hours and throw myself in front of a fast moving truck.
My 67 year old hubby has started watching those western channels. He says it’s better than watching the news channels, even Fox, and keeps him away from them. In response I turned our living room into my room and just gave him the den. I can’t watch that crap.
This 86 year old woman loved “ Breaking Bad” and “ Sons of Anarchy”
I don’t like westerns.
