Of course, they always think “it will be different when we do it”, but a glance at the early Soviet history is instructive. Most of Stalin’s friends ended up dead. Show trials, purges, gulags, etc. One murderous head of the secret police followed by another murderous head of the secret police — each dying exactly like his predecessor. Stalin had no loyalty to anyone.
The street thugs of the revolution don’t live long. The guys at the top who call the shots don’t live long either. Socialism is good at killing vast numbers. Socialism isn’t good at anything else.
But they don’t teach history anymore, so the Antifa Activists have no idea how doomed they would be if they won. Which they won’t.
Young people probably do not know that USSR stood for Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republics. ... probably never heard of the tens of millions killed in the gulag either.

In their version, it is because the International Socialists were not vicious enough to the National Socialists (NAZIs), so that is why the NAZIs happened.
They paper over Stalin's atrocities, say they were precipitated by or caused by the NAZIs, or by the United States; or that they were justified.
Any facts that diverge from their version of history are denied or claimed to be from false sources.
