Did the Portland cops stand by and do nothing, as usual?
Oh, yeah.....they returned safely to their families.
Until the citizens have enough and demand action from the Mayor this crap will continue, but I do not blame the cops. They step into a riot and strike a non-compliant idiot and they (the cop) will be charged with assault and prosecuted to the full extent of the law in the name of social justice.
If they step in and successfully arrest them without fanfare the DA will release them from jail with no bond and dismiss the charge.
What is the point if you are a cop? The command structure does not want you to act. The mayor does not want you to act. The DA does not want you to act. The judges do not want you to act. They will not back you, but they will stab you in the back at the first opportunity.
