FULL TITLE: Trump slams 'terrible' Jimmy Carter as 'forgotten president' after suggestion 2016 win was 'illegitimate'

President Trump fired back at former President Jimmy Carter’s suggestion that he’s illegitimate president, saying Carter is “the forgotten president” who’s not only “trashed” by his own party but also remembered only as being “terrible” for the country.

Trump addressed the comments made by Carter during a news conference Saturday following the G-20 summit in Japan, saying that although Carter is “a nice man, he was a terrible president,” before noting that “he’s a Democrat and it’s a typical talking point.”

He added that Carter is “loyal to the Democrats” but “as everybody now understands, I won not because of Russia, not because of anybody but myself.”

Carter said Friday at a Virginia forum that “I think a full investigation would show that Trump didn’t actually win the election in 2016.”

“He lost the election, and he was put into office because the Russians interfered on his behalf," he added. When asked if Trump was “illegitimate president,” Carter responded saying “Basically, what I just said, which I can’t retract.”

That’s right, people like Jimmy Carter have a whole army of people who go behind them and correct as many of their mistakes as they can. For the mistakes they can’t correct, they make sure to shield him from criticism of how screwed up his decisions were. If they can’t stop the criticism from reaching him, they talk in his ear and tell him that things HAD TO go that way and no other decision would’ve given a better outcome, a failure of one sort or another was guaranteed. Why do they do that? Because Jimmy (or Obama or whatever paraquat is in charge) is the conductor of their gravy train, they don’t want it stopping for anything. Working for a president is the ticket to a better fatter job in govt. Put up with working for the boy king for a few years and your next job is a figurehead position in charge of an agency that runs itself where you’re paid like a congressman, of course they don’t want anything derailing that.

Oh yeah. When he dies, it’ll be as annoying as the Steve Jobs Year of Mourning. That idiot was in headlines for a year, he was more idiotic and annoying after he died.

Exactly! I’ve thought that from the beginning!!!

The Dems. talking heads, media have all been saying there was collusion but never say how. I don’t expect them to, but I wish the REPUBLICANS, st least the ones that areTrump supporters, would emphasize this point.

I don’t know anyone who voted because of Russian meddling.
