There have been several posts positing that Oprah, Michelle, or Hillary will step in "at the last minute" and "save" the Dems by becoming the nominee. Personally, I doubt this is going to happen but who knows with those whackos?

My question is: what are the practical considerations in such a move? If there have been quite a few primary votes and delegates assigned, what happens to those delegates? Would the recipient have to assign them to whoever was swooping in to save the party? How could this work within their system?

Good questions. I do not know. They’d figure something out even if it’s underhanded or illegal. On that you can bet.
