HOMESTEAD, Florida — Former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX) told demonstrators and the assembled media outside the Homestead Temporary Shelter for Unaccompanied Children that migrant children from Central America “had no choice but to come here” because climate change had ravaged their countries.
O’Rourke said that rising temperatures had created droughts, which made it more difficult for people to grow their own food. That, he said, forced them to undertake the arduous journey on foot to the U.S. border, and to cross illegally.
O’Rourke was the fourth presidential candidate to visit the protest outside the facility, where thousands of teenagers, most of whom arrived unaccompanied, are temporarily housed until they can be handed over to a sponsor in the U.S.

More likely, they’re trying to break-in to the Promised Land where freedom reigns and milk and honey flows like manna from Heaven (as opposed to their crime-ridden socialist home countries where the corrupt bribe-taking officials ignore the rule of law and there is no freedom, no prospects, no hope and no toilet paper). In other words, they are fleeing environments exactly like the one our democrat socialists are trying to impose upon us here in the U.S.
Unfortunately, we cannot take in great masses of socialism destroyed humanity from Mexico, Central America and elsewhere.
Odd. I was just in the supermarket last week and bananas, grown in Central America, were available as usual.

They wanted to come to America to earn more money, in order to buy a house. They already had enough money so that the mother quit her job to stay at home with her child, something most American families can't afford. The husband worked at a Papa John's pizza restaurant.
How would O'Rourke's supposed global warming effect the pizza parlor?
Beta’s claims that “climate change” has forced these people to come here is as stupid and as big a lie ans the “violence in Central America” has caused these people to come here! Sine 2011, violence in Central America has been on a constant DECLINE, yet the number of people illegal invading America have SKYROCKETED UP...PROVING that area violence has NOTHING to do with illegal aliens invading America!
Since Beta O’Dork can’t show PROOF of increased or decreased rains in central america is simply BULLSH!T rhetoric and Liberal talking points!

I’m in Texas and occasionally see a “Beto” campaign sign still up in a yard or a “Beto” bumper sticker.
Now, whether or not that means they listen to him, I can’t say. It may mean they still believe that anyone called “Beto” is an actual Hispanic/Latino. They may just think he’s “cool” or “cute” or whatever other nonsensical reason they choose one candidate over another.
