No, I didn’t say that.

So how do we protect male victims of false claims? How do we discourage people from making false accusations of rape? I see only one fair way. Make the accuser serve the sentence.

Anything else (Unless you can come up with another method that works) is anti-man and unfair.

Actually I think I do. Why would a woman who had a valid claim and the evidence to establish that claim not make the report. I mean at the every least she'll have evidence that they had sex. A false accuser has no evidence at all.

Now this will put pressure on the rape victim to report the crime instantly, but that pressure should already be on any victim of a crime.

In principle, I don’t have a problem with the equal sentencing you’re recommending. Hell, it should also be applied to dishonest prosecutors and judges.

I agree with the necessity of reporting rape situations sooner than later — at least for adults. But “instantly” is not realistic. There must be some time allowance. Statistical data can help to define the reasonable windows for reporting the various forms of the crime.
