If Hillary Rodham Clinton insists shes not running for president in 2020, why is she running all over the place? Well, for one thing, Her Heinous has always believed in the value of high visibility as a means of enhancing her political chances When shes out of sight its almost like shes out of her mind.
To that self-serving purpose, she and Bill arranged a cross-country tour of joint speaking engagements that began last year. It was to be a means of keeping their power-presumptive connubial image front and fresh in the public eye, but flopped almost from the start. And recently a Broadway show based on her 2016 presidential run hit rock bottom in sales, closing after a shortened run.
But there is one audience that will always come through enthusiastically for Mrs. Clinton. Even before she came into national prominence, Hillary found comfort in knowing that she could always return in triumph to the place where her venture into politics began: Wellesley College, her alma mater in Massachusetts
As Hillary became increasingly famous, her welcome on campus grew even more jubilant. As the younger classes graduated and began to vote, the army of her dedicated collegiate sisters mushroomed, and the reciprocal affection flourished. During the period when Bill Clinton was president, Hillary invited everyone in her Wellesley Class of 69 to attend a state dinner at the White House. If there were any Republicans among them, they were not turned away. Neither, presumably, were they fools enough to discuss politics at the swank event.
For Wellesley alumnae, reunions occur every five years based on the last number of their graduating class. As a result I have always shared the same reunion cycle with both Hillary and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright .

Lesson here!
Every time an institution caves to outlandish actions & demands of spoiled self-entitled students. The next time the demands & actions are worse.
Proper response to this was NO!
Here are the rules!
You don’t have to come!
You’re degree will be awarded to you without your presence.
If you come and disrupt proceedings the awarding of your degree will be suspended until further notice.
Oddly enough, I was there at that graduation ceremony.
So are you tslking in code? How about cluing people in on what the heck you are talking about?
Wow.
To you I am talking in code, yes.
I’m talking about WHAT HILLARY did at Wellesley when she graduated; what she did, what she said, how she acted.
Wellesley is a college.
Hillary went to college there, and then she graduated.
She gave a speech at graduation.
She was rude.
She acted badly.
She made people feel bad.
“Oddly enough, I was there at that graduation ceremony.”
What was your reaction at the time?
Hillary’s 50th Reunion at Wellesley College:
Meeting of the RAT-commie womyn coven.
Yes, but the democrats don’t consider Trump to be “popular”. That’s part of why so many are running against him.
GOD I loved that day.
Even better was the MSM actually crying on the air.
I disagree. The Dems will never back her again.
If that was the case they would have never shut down The Clinton Global Initiative. That is how they made all their money. They were the ultimate grifters.
I believe the Dems know they have Zero chance of beating Trump in 2020. Its the Economy Stupid. Remember that saying?
PS I was not calling you stupid.
My father served on the Board of Directors of an insurance company with Sen. Brooke in the ‘60’s.
gaijin, were you there?
fido969, rudeness, swearing, swimming...do you remember this?
I’ve heard part of this story but not gruesome details.
I shouldn’t have said CUSSING:
She didn’t use any 4 letter words.
She was simply rude —needlessly rude— to a guy who had just given a nice speech.
The detailed account I read said it would have been clear to any who had heard the Senator that Hillary had already written her speech prior to the nice things he had just said.
Maybe she had assumed he would be saying pro Vietnam intervention stuff.
Clever, that. I will "borrow" the phrase in the future.
Good info in the post, is/are there sources?
TKS.
About 10 years ago in The American Spectator a historian had a yuuuge article about everything Hillary did on that Graduation Day.
There was a ton of detail I left out, but them’s the core details.
One last tidbit I forgot:
Her dad was so embarrassed by the speech ambush that he couldn’t bear to speak to anyone in the audience, afterwards. He might also have chosen not so speak to her for some time afterward (the two weren’t super close to begin with, anyway, so I’m not sure how much it mattered).
There was also a detail about something the speech Wellesley had required her to submit to them:
She either refused to submit a copy of her prepared remarks for approval, or she submitted a decoy; tame, nice stuff that she absolutely didn’t say in her actual speech.
I can’t remember which.
The account of Hillary on that day was super long and detailed, though.
It really outraged me and was 101% credible —vintage Hillary.
Just look at that idiotic smug smile on her face. Repulsive, you just want to smack that face silly
I was taken in - for a long time 90’s and early 2000’s! - by her claim of “being the valedictorian at Wellesley “. That leads to being “smartest woman” you know, right?
No, she was “valedictorian speaker” ... NOT “valedictorian “ as “top student in her class”
I go back and watch when Potus and his kids took the stage to the tune of Air Force One when he won the Presidency....I never get tired of it...ever!
ENJOY!

Good recall.
I believe that detail, too, might have been in the long account I’d read by that TAS historian, ten or so years back.
