A new round of U.S. economic sanctions targeting Irans Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other top officials meant a permanent closure of diplomacy now exists between Tehran and Washington, the Islamic Republic warned Tuesday.

So we have diplomacy with Iran, now?
“....And this attitude is different from iran’s past bellicosity in which way?....”
None!!! It’s just all typical rhetoric from them.
They’re in panic mode...which is good.
There is no love loss for the “weird beards”. Let em “twist in the wind”.
Oh, throw me in the briar patch. They need us a whole lot more than we them. When they get hungry, they’ll want a coffee.
rwood
They don’t know ‘diplomacy’ from shinola
This is like dealing with the drama queens in the Gay Mafia.
Leave them alone and they will die off all by themselves.
The mullahs are being extremely hard pressed by the sanctions. Inflation and food shortages are rampant in Iran and will only get worse. The frustrated mullahs are tempted to draw first blood. If they do, the American response will be swift and massive. Their nuclear infrastructure and sites (well mapped and identified by Mossad) will be destroyed with bunker busting bombs and missiles delivered by stealth bombers. Revolutionary Guard barracks and troop formations will also be attacked. Many mullahs and their supporters will achieve their fervent wish of martyrdom.
Yet as emotionally gratifying as the punishment of these hostage taking medieval lowlifes that provided the IEDs and support to the jihadists that killed and maimed so many Americans in Iraq will be, the major question is when the dust settles will America itself for these actions be more secure?
Dictatorships need permanent enemies to justify their own internal repression. That’s why they are always bellicose.
BS Crazy as always.
They sure talk a lot of smack for a non-nuke country...oh wait...
NK and Iran have been sharing nuclear technology for decades.
So what?
Do we really NEED to talk to the “Ayatolah” and the other “40 Thieves”?
Instead, just broadcast on Radio Free Iran the value of all the loot that those kleptocrats have stolen from Iran’s citizens...
And re-broadcast...
And re-broadcast...

Our “thirst for war” must have been demonstrated by Trump refusing to do anything about the shoot down. We are so despicable. :D
As Ron White said, You cant fix stupid
They are like the gunfighter wannabee trying to get us to go for our gun. Next they will be telling Trump that his mother wears army boots.
Their rhetoric says a lot about their situation. I think it speaks of desperation. Just give it a few more weeks, though. Or months.
I suspect that eventually the people of Iran will take care of this for everybody.
In a slightly less civilized world, this fatwa-spewer would receive John Kerry’s head in a bowling ball bag.
Boo hoo; boo hoo. I want my Obama sweetheart deal back!
Everyone realizes this, except the media.
I can reduce the spirit of Iran’s remarks in one very brief sentence: “I triple dog dare you to attack!”
They really, REALLY want us to move militarily. However, I think that if we do, we will strike at the head.
And missile technology.
Chavez wanted to play too, but we crushed him.
