Havent perused the Mueller report yet? A star-studded cast, including Annette Bening, Kevin Kline, and John Lithgow, can read it to you.
For one night only on Monday, June 24, stars will perform a live reading of passages from the Mueller report for The Investigation: A Search for the Truth in Ten Acts, Robert Schenkkans stage adaptation of the Mueller report. The live performance will be streamed online only on the website for Law Works. The stream will begin at 9 p.m. EDT. The cast of the event also includes Justin Long, Piper Perabo, Michael Shannon, and Zachary Quinto, among others. Sigourney Weaver, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Mark Hamill will also make appearances.
Law Works is an organization catering to bipartisan voices to make sure that the public is educated on the Mueller investigation among other issues in American politics. Their goal is to share resources and stories from experts to shed light on important developments based on the rule of law, making sure that neither Congress nor the American people consider themselves above the law.
The Investigation: A Search for the Truth in Ten Acts is a project from playwright, screenwriter, and actor Schenkkan, who won a Pulitzer Prize in 1992 for The Kentucky Cycle and a Tony award for All the Way in 2014. He has also picked up Emmy nominations for his HBO limited series The Pacific in 2010.
The live reading is executive produced by Susan Disney Lord, Abigail Disney, and Timothy Disney.

No kidding!
Page/Sztrok! The Musical
I saw the one in 2013. It was not too bad.
I didn’t know, at the time, about the Spock guy.
The “Chekov” Russian guy is dead. His Jeep Cherokee pinned him against his front gate.
I have rented one of those. The shifter WAS really awkward to use. I loved the vehicle but that thing was twitchy.
I wound up going down a hill too fast. Had a police officer in Branson, Missouri following for awhile to make sure I wasn’t intoxicated, LOL. If he had pulled me over I would have said, dude I seriously was having problems with the shifter. Great vehicle but that thing was a disaster in the making. Too bad.
Why not read something useful, e.g. the Constitution and the Federalist papers?
Talk about jumping the shark, these idiots are jumping the whale! Screw Hollywood forever!

Allow me to correct the title
Stir-Crazy Cast to Perform Live Reading of the Mueller Report
Who is going to bother to listen?
“He would be the poofter playing Spock in the latest Star Trek movies.”
Fortunately, it seems like that timeline is over. The actor that plays Kirk makes too much money now, Paramount is afraid of making another, and Star Trek seems to do much better on TV.
I loved the first one, the second one was a predictable snoozefest, and the third one was decent, but mostly forgettable (I never saw it in a theater ... only at home).
Overall, I couldn’t care less if they don’t make another.
The only character that nailed his part was the dude that played Bones. The only other that did a decent job was Checkov (may that actor rest in peace).
Queer Spock had Nimoy’s look, but was pretty damn annoying. He came off as ridiculously arrogant vs logical/meticulous.
Kirk ... was great in the first one, but was terrible in the next two. He didn’t have William Shatner’s charisma to carry the part.
The woman playing Uhura was wayyyyyy too “girl power” and was nowhere as attractive as Nichelle Nichols.
Scotty was OK at best in the first one, but was awful in the two that followed.
Sulu seemed bored in all three.
Oh well, I’m sure they’ll resurrect the old crew in another 30 years or so :-). Until then, no Star Trek for me :-).
Shannon Wheeler, longstanding comics creator famous for Too Much Coffee Man (and for cosplaying as his character), Sh*t My President Says, God is Disappointed in You and new work for the upcoming Heavy Metal comedy spinoff Soft Wood has teamed up with actual journalist Steve Duin to turn the Mueller Report into a comic book…
Fight the spin spewing forth from both parties and political pulpits and check out this graphic novel that brings a 400-page legal document down to size. Wheeler and Duin, in graphic form, bring to life scenes detailed in the report: from the infamous Trump Tower Meeting of 2016 to Trump exclaiming “I’m f*cked” upon finding out he was the subject of investigation. It’s in the report and it’s in the graphic novel!
The Mueller Report: Graphic Novel borrows style from classic private detective yarns, complete with a villain’s rogues’ gallery, nail-biting cliffhangers, and a lone lawman standing proud against the wave of crime.
And they seem to know their audience;
See Trump berate his Attorney General. Watch a petulant Commander-in-Chief lob insults at the White House counsel. Witness the “witch hunt” as it happened, cataloged as only the top lawman in the country could!
This staggering laundry list of questionable contacts, misleading statements, unreported engagements, and possible coordination — enough to stun any student of the U.S. Constitution — is laid bare with a cold, satirical edge.
You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You may Tweet in anger. But most importantly, you will be reading the report for yourself!
“It’s the Mueller Report… with pictures… and funny,” explains Wheeler.
But you’ll have to wait almost as long as the actual Mueller Report took as The Mueller Report Graphic Novel goes on sale in April 2020, from IDW Publishing. 208-page, black & white squarebound softcover, 6″ x 9″…
Wow. Bet that is a barn-burner...
Star studded cast all destroy their careers by being dumbasses thinking they are not only still relevant, but that anyone really gives a crap on what they think!
Gee, which selected passages will those be?? The passages that SUGGEST obstruction?? Found by all those Dem donors on Muellers staff? No, thanks.
I’ll wait for the reading of the Fast and Furious report - oh, wait...
Good way to put a silver lining on an otherwise morose story.
I bet 28 people watch.
Stuck on stupid.
Wow! I went to the reading of the Mueller report. It was awesome! I don't what it all meant but there were famous reading it so it must have all been correct and against Nazi racist Trump.
I think most directors and producers would tell you that many - not all - actors and performers are pretty stupid.
Hmm.....
How will they have time to do it ?
OH YEAH They’ll only read the parts that they agree with. Answered my own question.
