It sounds to me that the right isn’t enamored with Islamic terrorism but very concerned with it. The right isn’t racist by definition. The further you go Left the more control the government has over its citizens and the further to the right the less control the government has over its citizens. Racism or bigotry really isn’t built into either end of the spectrum although it can manifest with either.
IMHO, it’s much more dangerous when bigotry is practiced by the alert because it has the force of government behind it. So Joe Blow on the right might hate other races along with other Joe Blows and that would be dangerous if there are a lot of them and they have freedom to discriminate as they wish. However people have this thing called a brain and also a conscience. Because of this people change and can be either persuaded or shamed by others to change, persuasion being preferable. Government, however doesn’t change easily if it has a program of bigotry like the NAZIS which were actually leftists. Even, if it’s not a NAZI government, it can discriminate by favoring certain groups.

Funny how the Wash Po has no problems with not reporting the news. They didn’t mind the coverup of the beheading of the woman in Oklahoma either.
