I have never understood how or why Gowdy said what he said on Sunday Morning Futures and why he has never explained himself.
For those upset with Gowdy about “inaction” they need to realize that is all a single congressman can do - talk. On the other hand, the day he said something to the effect of “if your viewers had seen what the FBI saw they would want the FBI to do what they did” or something to that effect is still inexplicable to me given what we know and it has never been congruent with his other remarks regarding spygate.
Did the FBI lie to Gowdy prior to him making that statement in a briefing? What gives Trey?
