Corona may have just made the traditional six-pack a thing of the past.
In an effort to move away from plastic six-pack rings, Corona is testing out a new type of beer can. The new cans have threading at the top and bottom that allow them to be connected and stacked on top of each other, creating a long staff of Corona beers.

Now, if they can only make them Vibrate...
Wonder what that will do to guys who create wall of empty beer cans in their dorm rooms?
Is that the beer you have to put a lime in to make it drinkable?
Clever for two or three or maybe even four cans, but they need to come up with a nifty way to connect cans side-to-side. Maybe some sort of little built-in hook on the top and latch on the bottom. The sides of the cans could be snapped together into any number of arrangements.
Yes! Then we can build THAT WALL.
Hold my beer stack and watch this!
The Corona wall would have the added effect of rendering the would-be invaders incapable of proceding. The Border Patrol could gather them up with a platoon of skip loaders.
In this solution they connect the cans top to bottom. Not practical for shelving. Looks stupid too. Even if you distribute them as singles you need packaging to group them together.
A better solution IMO would be to connect them on their sides in some manner so you still have a six-pack or twelve-pack or whatever except they connect together without plastic.
As it is it looks like a half-baked idea to appeal to climate change millenials.
Well hurry up and get it to market then, before the planet dies.
Reminds me of the long loaf of French bread always sticking out of top of a grocery bag. It is clever, but how do they ship? How do you stock the shelves? you have to scan each can at checkout. Seems store owners wouldn’t like this idea.
Back in the day,my roommates and I stacked beer cans to cover a whole wall with a giant ‘finger pattern. This would make stacking a piece of cake.
Perhaps they could fold something like thin cardboard to make some sort of device to hold the cans together? Naw, it’d never work.
In top of that, there was a wetback explaining it...in Spanish.
You couldn’t pay me to drink that Corona swill. Alaskan Amber.
This will help in making solar heaters. Seriously.
Corona Beer (and probably this commercial) are made in Mexico. If the guy explaining it is in own country of Mexico, he is not anymore a wetback than you are.
Boom
