Well, it’s considered part of the “interstate highway system”, even though I-4 does not run through any other state.
There are many such interstate highways in this country, which are completely within just one state.
That is my point there are too many.
BTW i lived in Lakeland near I-4.

He came up with the American interstate system.
Hundreds of billions spent, BUT today people, goods, and if necessary military equipment can get from one side of America to the other with relative ease.
