From a purely business perspective, the last thing that you want to do is to buy a product that intends to control your behavior. Salesforce may be the big dog in the CRM world, but they aren’t the only one, yet.

Those who think that Salesforce is just a great CRM with a great price, great customer service, a tool that helps your business grow need to rethink it. This company is a parasite and once it has infected your operation, they will start to tell you what to do. Right now, it may be just AR-15 retailers and the State of Indiana who are protecting religious freedom, but they are coming for you too whenever they want.

I would dump their product like a glob of Chernobyl reactor metal.

Point being, having said that, if I had an AR-15, I'd gladly give it to Benioff, but only one end of it.

Therefore they feel that they are untouchable and can economically punish with impunity, those who don't agree with their corporate far left political philosophy. They cater to businesses, so it is easier for them to be an left wing activist company.

Mike Pence had to bow to Salesforce and Apple bullying, when he was governor of Indiana.

The fact of the matter is that when Indiana passed a bill to protect people from lawsuits for simply sticking by their religious beliefs and not don't doing whatever some pervert asked them to do if doing it contradicted their faith, Benioff flew in from California and threatened Pence, then Governor, and the State Legislature with making sure business stayed away from the State unless they repealed the bill.

Pence collapsed into a puddle of water and immediately went to work to make sure the bill was repealed. The bill was repealed, and Pence is mainly responsible for it being repealed.

When I hear what a good Christian Pence is I always remember how he folded on an issue very important to Christians in Indiana as soon as a pervert threatened to reduce the flow of what Pence really holds near and dear, money.

He left the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker to fend for themselves in court and face law-fare that can easily bankrupt people rather than leave a law protecting them in place.

If anyone has differing details I'd love to hear them but to date, any way you frame it, what I just stated is what the situation boiled down to.

It's always very strange to me when a fellow FReeper talks down to me like that. The fact is, my post had NOTHING to do with Pence. Therefore whatever assumption you might have made about me, vis-a-vis Pence, is unwarranted.

I took you at your word and don't see how someone who looked into Pence's background much could have missed this guy so I let you know where this guy first came to my attention as a political actor rather than in a business context.
