The Senate Judiciary Committee is set to consider President Donald Trumps nomination of Peter Phipps to serve as a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
The panel is scheduled to meet for a vote June 27.
Phipps is currently a judge on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Before that, he was senior trial counsel in the federal programs branch at the Justice Departments Civil Division, and spent three years as an associate at Jones Day, where he focused on civil litigation. He got his law degree from Stanford Law School.

These Judges appointments have become way too important. The Judiciary is pretty much running the country
Nice to see Trump has pretty much filled the vacancies in the Appellate Courts. Now, if he can average 5 or so District Judges a week, he’ll pretty much fill up those courts too!
