The Senate Judiciary Committee is set to consider President Donald Trump’s nomination of Peter Phipps to serve as a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

The panel is scheduled to meet for a vote June 27.

He got his law degree from Stanford Law School.

Another nominee for the Ninth Circuit, Daniel A Bress was approved by the Judiciary Committee on Thursday and passed on to the Senate for confirmation. Peter Phipps is under consideration for the 3rd Circuit. Halil Ozerden has been announced as a nominee for the 5th Circuit but apparently her paperwork hasn't been officially submitted.

Excellent progress on the appeals court confirmations.

IF you are playing the odds, Stanford Law School is not a good bet. Find a constitutional lawyer whose thought trumps his heart.

These Judges appointments have become way too important. The Judiciary is pretty much running the country

Nice to see Trump has pretty much filled the vacancies in the Appellate Courts. Now, if he can average 5 or so District Judges a week, he’ll pretty much fill up those courts too!
