President Trump is beginning his 2020 re-election effort by trying to woo Hispanic voters with a kickoff event in the crucial swing state of Florida.
Vice President Mike Pence will visit Miami on Tuesday to roll out the "Latinos for Trump" campaign, a nationwide project aimed at engaging Hispanic communities.
Florida is home to more 2 million Hispanic voters and could play a key role in next year's presidential election, Politico reported.
"The strong Latino support for President Trump and his policies will be instrumental in re-electing the president for a second term," Hannah Castillo, director of coalitions for the Trump campaign, told The Hill in a statement.

Florida Lt. Gov. Jeanette Núñez, a Cuban American, will co-chair the outreach effort.
Trump won Florida in 2016 with 25 percent of the Hispanic vote, bolstered in part by pro-Republican Cubans, according to the politics website. ..."
Collins pointed to low unemployment rates and his support of Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaidó over President Nicolas Maduro as reasons why Hispanics support Trump.

A few years ago, I met a guy who escaped from Cuba with his parents in the 1960s. Funny, engaging personality, he told me never to vote for Democrats, they promote Socialism he said. Always vote Republican he told me.
Bush League Republicans have been lying to us for decades that we had to pander with amnesty.
It was all BS.
Yes, people from Cuba know communism first hand and recognize it, when they see it here, as the Dems’ goals.

One of the things DJT needs to say OUT LOUD is that he wants the Puerto Ricans, who are already citizens, to get job & economic opportunities ahead of illegal immigrants.
And he should say it over and over in Florida.
