The problem is the GOP establishment prefers progressives to conservatives. The party could have easily pulled a mediocre candidate like Moore across the line in ALABAMA. Dems do that all the time. The GOP didn’t do that because they preferred Jones on policy. Immigration, Obamacare, etc. It’s that simple.

The problem is we have a conservative, Brooks, but if dicknipple Moore runs again, he will cut out the conservative and TANK 685,000 AL voters.

No one, and I mean no one should be standing up for loser Moore unless you want Doug Jones back.

I disagree with this. The GOP sabotaged Moore because he was the worst kind of candidate a major political party ever wants to see: an unreliable one.

President Trump endorsed Luther Strange in the primary because Strange voted for 100% of Trump's bills that came up for a vote. You cannot put that at risk by replacing Strange with someone who has spent his entire career in government pissing people -- especially his fellow Republicans in Alabama -- off.
