Bingo.
If it were up to Obama and his ilk, they would have outlawed fracking and murdered the new energy revolution in the crib, just like they do to little babies!
Try reading it again, more carefully. It’s not like this is difficult stuff to understand.
Reminds me of the court case in “Used Cars”.
We have a mile of cars.....

CNN Takes issue with Trump taking credit for low unemployment rate for blacks by parroting Democrat talking points:
CNN:
Much of the progress, however, happened during the Obama administration. The African-American unemployment rate dropped from 12.7% in January 2009, when Obama took office, to 7.9% in December 2016, Obama’s last full month in office. It has fallen further from 7.9% to 6.2% during Trump’s tenure.
Then, CNN nitpicks Trump’s numbers ( as if doing so is going to lessen the impact of the good unemployment rates under his administration ). CNN said this:
TRUMP: Women’s unemployment is now the lowest it’s been in 74 years.”
CNN Facts First: The women’s unemployment rate in May 2019 was 3.5%. If you ignore the April 2019 rate of 3.4%, that is the lowest since September 1953 less than 66 years ago, not “74 years” ago.
My take — OK 66 years. So? What’s their point? By any measure, this is FANTASTIC accomplishment for women.
TRUMP: “Wages are rising at the fastest rate in many decades.”
CNN Facts First: “Many decades” is an exaggeration. May 2019 growth in average hourly earnings, 3.1% year-over-year, was the best year-over-year growth since April 2009, or almost precisely one decade prior. (If you’re counting earlier periods in Trump’s own presidency, there was faster wage growth, 3.4%, in February 2019.)
My Take: So? CNN cannot deny the fact that Wages ARE GROWING, so they have to nitpick the dates Trump uses for comparison. To what end? To diminish his administration’s accomplishments? Of course.
Actually, it’s a great article.
Anyone who reads it, will get a feel for the issues and Trump’s stand on the issues. And CNN’s nitpicking at it, is obvious.
Take for instance the first claim. Energy. Trump talks about rolling back the excessive regulations. CNN doesn’t dispute that.
Doesn’t matter that Fracking put up over the top before Trump took office. It matters that the democrats were fighting it.
Same thing with a wall. CNN can quibble about the difference between a fence and a wall, but they basically just confirmed Trump was right and democrats did vote for border protection.
As opposed to cnn which features all false statements every minute?
.
Did CNN or one of the rat candidates claim guys can count higher than 21?
RE: You think CNN can be more refuted than it already has been? Not worth the aggravation.
Well, I’ll read the refutations made by others then.
Now, that a very G rated way to explain it, LOL!
know your enemy
CNN SUCKS
CNN - About 500,000 viewers.
That’s it.
BUT to your point - I wouldn’t know anything about CNN except what is posted here.
Manufacturing
“In the eight years before I took office, on average we lost 2,000 manufacturing jobs a month. Since my inauguration, we’ve added 16,000 manufacturing jobs a month. That didn’t happen by accident.”
Facts First: Trump’s figures were basically accurate. The number of manufacturing jobs dropped from 12,561,000 when Obama took office in January 2009 to 12,355,000 in December 2016, a decline of 206,000 jobs - more than 2,100 per month.
It’s worth noting, however, that the decline occurred during the recession Obama inherited. Between January 2009 and December 2009, the economy shed nearly 1.1 million manufacturing jobs. From January 2010 until December 2016, it added 895,000 manufacturing jobs.
Again with the poor Obama had a recession to deal with lame excuse.
Doesnt address the FACT that it was Obamas job and industry killing policies and regulations that KEPT that recession going longer than it should have.
I mean honestly, werent these the same people lambasting Bush 6 years after the recession caused by 9/11? And yet somehow Obama gets a pass for an EIGHT year recession?
Unreal. And they wonder why people started chanting CNN sucks at that rally! The unmitigated arrogance of these people!
RE: democrats did vote for border protection.
What CNN does not emphasize ( but did mention ) was that the Dems voted for the Secure Fence Act, which authorized 700 miles of border fencing.
SO, They voted for fencing but not for a wall. The bottom line question that CNN does not address is this -— DOES THE FENCING THEY SUPPORTED IN 2006 WORK TO PREVENT ILLEGALS FROM CROSSING?
The answer is obviously “NO”.
So, knowing that it does not work, why are they opposed to making the barrier STRONGER? CNN does not mention the reason why.
Then CNN says that Trump is lying when he uses the term “Wall” when they are simply new types of fencing.
Well, why can’t Trump build the wall that he wants? CNN does not mention in this “Fact Check” as to the reasons why — The Democrats REFUSE to allocate the money to strengthen the barrier to make a GENUINE WALL.
So, this so-called FACT CHECK does not fully inform readers about the issues. It simply wants to push the meme that Trump is a liar. Which helps the Democrats of course ( but we all know that was their intent ).
CNN fact checkers do not compare Trump’s statements to actual facts. They believe that they already know the facts and therefore do not need to look them up.
Jeez, I thought everyone knew this.
Yeah, for some reason the link won't post.

Refutation of Bishop Berkeley
The Samuel Johnson Sound Bite Page
After we came out of the church, we stood talking for some time together of Bishop Berkeley's ingenious sophistry to prove the nonexistence of matter, and that every thing in the universe is merely ideal. I observed, that though we are satisfied his doctrine is not true, it is impossible to refute it. I never shall forget the alacrity with which [Dr. Sam] Johnson answered, striking his foot with mighty force against a large stone, till he rebounded from it -- "I refute it thus."
James Boswell, 1791.
