While I don't believe that millions of illegals will be removed by next week, I do believe it will be more of a steady stream than just a trickle once the way is paved.

The key, and I must admit a somewhat slippery word here is “begin”.

I’d also point out that “as fast as they come in” is a rather lower number than my or other speculation here regarding what effort would be needed to get most illegals out by the end of a 2nd Trump term. This especially true if one assumes Mexico really sustains effective efforts on their end.
