Exactly.
Contingency should be that funds will be permanently revoked.
Thanks T Ruth.
How long before some judge overrules our President ? !
A lot of people forget that candidate Obama promised a war on coal, and that he would make it too expensive to operate coal fired power plants. He kept that promise in spades.
Unfortunately for a lot of us who are the recipients of that promise, which is still being kept, and played out, it hits us in the pocketbook every time we use electricity.
Drop in the bucket compared to remittances.

Forbes reports that last year, Guatemalan nationals abroad “sent a record breaking $9.3 billion in remittances.” That was 12.1 percent of that country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Remittances to Honduras last year were almost $4.9 billion, which Forbes notes is 19.9 percent of the country’s GDP. Remittances to El Salvador constituted an even larger proportion of the country’s GDP: 21.1 percent, $534.2 million.
This is a classic example of why we are broke and getting broker. We don’t have a revenue issue, we have a spending issue.
Our government is like a boat that has thousands of small holes in it. This leak is money for studying some obscure insect. That leak is for Midnight Basketball. That other leak is PBS and NPR. There are leaks identified as aid to nearly every country on earth in some way, either directly or indirectly.
Aid to Central American countries is typical. We give them money. They give us the finger.
Time to stop.
I get confused with the northern and the southern border. It is north to the Tegulsegalpans.
Meanwhile most Dem presidential candidates are taking the opposite tack of spending more money in the form of a Marshall plan on Central America. Reward them for unleashing
the invaders on the US. More money down the black hole that will be used to exacerbate the problem.
Hey...the corrupt upper class own lots of very nice properties in southern Florida .
