Ousted president Morsi died in court, Egypt TV says

Egypts former president, Mohammed Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood leader who rose to office in the countrys first free elections in 2012 and was ousted a year later by the military, collapsed in court during a trial and died Monday, state TV and his family said.

Why was he being tried now and for what? I think he was put in prison after losing power in 2013.
He was a diabetic so MI, stroke are common. But one would think that he would have been checked over before a trial.
He said he had some secrets to reveal, but shutting him up right after that does look suspicious.
But this stuff is SOP in ME. At least Al-Sissi is not MB.
