President Donald Trump on Saturday denied a New York Times report claiming the U.S. is ramping up cyber attacks against Russia, calling the decision to run the article a virtual act of treason. According to the Times, the U.S. is increasingly targeting Russias electric power grid and has even gone as far as to install debilitating code inside it. The operation is the first of its kind, according to the newspaper, which also claimed two administration officials said President Donald Trump is believed not to have been briefed on the mission.
Reacting to the report in a pair of tweets, President Trump wrote: Do you believe that the Failing New York Times just did a story stating that the United States is substantially increasing Cyber Attacks on Russia. This is a virtual act of Treason by a once great paper so desperate for a story, any story, even if bad for our Country.
The president went on to deny the reports veracity, stating it was NOT TRUE!
Anything goes with our Corrupt News Media today. They will do, or say, whatever it takes, with not even the slightest thought of consequence! These are true cowards and without doubt, THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE! he concluded.

Moments earlier, President Trump defended his decision to be interviewed by ABC News. The president made headlines after telling interviewer George Stephanopoulos that he was open to accepting opposition research on his 2020 Democrat rivals from a foreign government.

I believe President Trump over habitual liar NY Times.
They can cause real problems with these kinds of made up stories, which probably their intent, to get us into trouble with Russia.
They should all be locked up for treason.
Who in Trumps Administration is telling this to the media?
Trump needs to be mad at those swamp people, not the media. Hes got too many nevertrump swamp dwellers on his payroll
Who in Trumps Administration is telling this to the media?
________________
They make things up all the time.
Someone says/thinks:”Wouldn’t it be cool if all the Trump supporters thought Trump wanted to start a war?” Then, they write stories with _unnamed sources_ detailing various scenarios that *prove* “...Trump wanted to start a war.”
The Swamp is overflowing. It runs under supposedly dry land. It backs up into basements at all economic levels. The stench pervades.
Do you make a habit of believing in fake news from anonymous sources?
p
This information could cause a war.
It is necessary to arrest the journ-o-list and find out where the information came from.
Bulldoze that shitshow and line those commies up against the wall.Dont shoot ‘em but line them up about once a week to make their life a living hell.Make a fortune from pay per view.Happy Fathers day.
Nobody has to hack into Russia’s power grid. They’ve done a fine enough job of periodically destroying their own power grids over the years.
Is the New York Times trying to take spy gate off the front page?
Trump is still playing defense, reacting to NYT articles, rather than pounding the table about how Democrats are slowing the economy, mis-educating kids, adding illegals to the welfare rolls, etc.
Cyber attacks on the Russian power grid certainly could be considered an act of war. Is the NYT trying to provoke Russia into attacking us?
The journ-o-list is either telling the truth, or lying.
If it is false, why would the NYT spread a liea lie that could damage US/Russia relations.
It makes you laugh that all we’ve heard from the media these past three years is how bad Russia is for hacking into our elections, and how the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians. Now the media seems to be trying to draw sympathy for Russia, and alert them of wrongdoing, because that mean old Donald Trump is supposedly hacking into their power grid.
Yeah, I ignored the thread yesterday on this because it sounded like hooey. The msm and demonrats are doing everything to start WWIII.
These old retarded deep staters want to reignite the Cold War. Those years were the former glory years for deep state creatures. They could get away with murder anywhere on the planet.
I think this is very very very serious, the border invasion is very very serious, and our economic problems, welfare fraud, mis-educating children, etc., are serious problems. This article invites war with a nation with nuclear capabilities. This article could lead nuclear war today! Note that the Times has stated Pres. Trump basically doesn’t know anything about it, implying that he can’t deny it credibly. Pres. Trump has to deal with this right now! There is NOTHING that is more important. I hope Pres. Trump is on the phone with Mr. Putin, and providing him with whatever proof he demands to put a stop to this. Heads need to roll over this, not only the NYT for publishing such an article that could lead to the death of millions of Americans, but if anyone in Pentagon has spoken to the NYT, they need to be found, exposed and punished. This needs to be taken most seriously and dealt with immediately, and any and everyone who is involved with this story needs to go to Gitmo, and I thinking hanging or a firing squad should be on the table. I think this story is about the worst thing that has ever happened to our country.
"Trump and Putin are best friends colluding with each other..."
to
"Trump is attacking Russia, multiple cyber-attacks..."
If the Pentagon is doing this without Trumps approval, they should be court marshaled.
Agreed but my first suspicion is that the NY Times is just lying.
