The Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg wants to start a family with his husband, Chasten, and says that could happen if he makes it to the White House.
“I don’t see why not,” the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, said in a Father’s Day television interview that also marked his first wedding anniversary.
Buttigieg was little known nationally before he began his campaign for president earlier this year, but has seen his star rise in recent months, ranking alongside Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren in one Iowa poll last week.
Buttigieg told CNN’s State of the Union that “it wouldn’t be the first time that children have arrived to a first couple, but obviously that’s a conversation I had better have with Chasten before I go into it too much on television.”

To all the kids out there from an old guy: This ain’t the way it is supposed to work. Learn the real facts early on and you will save yourselves a lot of misery in life.
Mr. B(whatever) and his friends compose a minority of the general population out there and want you to be like them. DON’T. That’s why they are the minority. Don’t settle for being second best when you can be the best. Learn and avoid the mistakes others make.
Finally, I hope he resigns from politics, finds a real job, and experiences the adversity most of us face in this life. Once he has achieved some experience in these areas, he may want to return to politics and serve you, his fellow man, in a way that will be beneficial to all.
It takes a man and a woman designed by GOD to get the job done right, not two of the same sex. Perhaps a baby doll or baby robot can fulfill their fantasy instead of a real child. I hear robotics will soon replace us anyway.
