Trevor: Don’t forget that Young’s fellow CPUSA member, Milton Cohen (who later also joined the DSA), was in the room at Bill Ayers/Bernadine Dohrn’s house (both were Weathermen Marxist terrorists - WUO)at which Obama staged a little Marxist coup against fellow CP supporter Alice Palmer (a state senator who had given up her seat, at first, and then wanted to run for a third term).
Obama and his band of reds prevented Palmer from getting the nomination and that was the start of Comrade O’s rise to political fame and infamy.

Also, somewhere in KW should be a story which included the California Nurses Association/Union, a member of the NNU, both far-left, Marxist unions. Two of the CNA/Union were members of the CPUSA and wrote for their newspapers for decades. Carl Bloice and Chuck Idelson were these CP writers and Union spokesmen/communications leaders/directors, or something like that.
Quentin Young was also Obama’s personal physician for many decades, one of the inhabitants of Obama’s ritzy neighbor “hold” in Chicago (his house actually being owned by jailbird Rezko and one of his go-betweens. Other neighbors included Louis Farrakhan, Rabbi Wolf (a hardcore leftist well known in Chicago red circles), Ayer/Dohrn, perhaps Don Rose and his Soviet-asset, CPUSA member David Simon Cantor (he died in the late 80’s or early 90’s, and was a political kingpin maker in Democrat Chicago politics).
Obama’s top political advisor David Axelrod, wrote some articles for the Rose/Cantor neighborhood red rag roughly entitled the Kenoak-Hyde Park Herald before he “got” a job at the Chicago Tribune. Reportedly Cantor’s influence helped grease the skids into it a good bit.

Name a subject and the Marxist Democrats will introduce old Soviet-type legislation to seize control of literally every aspect of American life (and esp. the way of life that conservatives value under the Constitution).

Of course it’s a communist idea. It’s government-run health insurance and healthcare with a deliberately misleading name.
Ageism pure and simple. Medicare was for people who were no longer working and earning and at the same time more susceptible to disease and injury. It was to protect them and their families from over-the-top medical costs that would bankrupt them.
It is easy to use, so that older people will have no problems keeping up with it.
A different era, when people loved and protected the elderly.
