So when peter pothead gets damaged on the job, he won’t be suing gov sissypants. Still waiting on gov sissypants to sign the anti-gun bill that was passed during the 180 day session of the NV legislature.

Say what you want but Zero Tolerance is stupid, especially in states where it’s legal.

Stoners now, stoners forever. Working impaired is never a good business model.
So, does the legislation protect the employer from legal liability for acts carried out by the buzzed employee?

No employer holds it against a employee who drinks or smokes. I'm sick and tired off the hypocrisy of the Prohibitionists. Show up drunk or stoned on the clock, then out you go. What one smokes or drinks off the clock is a persons own business.

Just because he failed a test, does not mean hes high at work. The problem is that it stays in the system for close to a month. The other problem is theres no way to differentiate If someone used it on a Saturday / weekend on their free time -( the same way that a person would consume alcohol) vs being under the influence on the job the following Monday (or any work day for that matter).
They need a test that will show if someone is currently under the influence.
