The important thing is that some general gets a bonus paycheque.

Found the Brit! Your comment is sadly all too true. This behavior will continue right up until some are put in gaol. (See what I did there?)

Check the bank accounts of whatever DoD assholes signed off on this and then hang them.
Regardless of whether they are dumb circuit boards, no chicom owned company should ever make a dime off the US or UK taxpayer.
Globalism in a nutshell. Spit.

Is this the same Chinese company that makes parts for Boeing?

Suicidal idiocy. We have met the enemy and it is us.

This Global economy is great! Ain’t it?
To: cba123
It's a UK based company making bare circuit boards to exact specification of the designers.
The company isn't even putting components on the PC boards.
There is no opportunity to either steal technology from the F-35, or to add nefarious things to the F-35, like an "off switch."
Don't get your panties in a bunch.

Our political leaders are utterly insane, selling out national security for the saving of saving a few bucks/quid.

To a Chinese design that may well be designed with a means of spying on/disabling the aircraft?
To: cba123
Lunacy to depend on Red China for any military component or materiel.

<> This is true. Bare boards are pretty much a tech commodity that can be moved from CM to CM fairly easily. Our company does it all the time. However, we make appliances with razor thin cost margin, which is the reason all our electronics come from Asia.
