The Japanese owner of the Kokuka Courageous, one of two oil tankers targeted near the Strait of Hormuz, said Friday that sailors on board saw "flying objects" just before it was hit, suggesting the vessel wasn't damaged by mines. That account contradicts what the U.S. military said as it released a video Friday it said shows Iranian forces removing an unexploded limpet mine from one of the two ships that were hit.

That Japanese owner probably also denies Trump colluded with the Russians!
Torpedo launched flying limpet mine missile thing
Kamikaze seagulls maybe?
“And you sound like a typical Putin boot-licker attempting to spin for Iran, a key pawn of Russia in the strategic Middle East.”
LOL ain’t it the truth.
The collective potential for reason in this forum have deteriorated some 30 IQ points in the last decade, unfortunate.
Certainly the case when Big Media gets involved. Your average Big Media "reporter" wouldn't know a torpedo from his own dxxx, assuming he has one.
Bolton and Pompeo can’t help themselves. But we didn’t elect them.
First I heard of this yesterday, the news had it that the tankers had been torpedoed by Iranian submarines and the US Navy was after them.
Yuppers.

That goes for the opposition folks as well. I can remember some civil and reasonable conversations with political opposites on this forum fifteen to twenty years ago. Eventually they were all canned, or tripped up causing their demise, which I’m sure has in some ways hindered present day freepathons.
Tacos, enchiladas and all the fixins tonight vfw post 4011.
amber bock on draft, happy hour is 4-6, $2 pints
The damage was above the waterline because the limpet mine was attached above the waterline, as we saw from the video of Iranians removing a limpet mine from one of the ships.
10 years ago Alpha Freepers were saying that same thing.
Sadly, both you and they were correct.
The question is not whether the Iranians are involved in disruption shipping, the question is, what will we do about it?
Yep. I remember the “Buckhead’s” of this forum who made me proud.
Now there’s just so raw much anger and kneejerk cynicism that it’s almost difficult to read the comments.
Not that it’s not to a degree understandable considering what’s happened with the left, the media and so on. But the minute we let the opposition control not only the narrative but our collective reaction to it, we are lost.
Sometimes the real deal does too.
Musta been a UFO, somebody call Mulder-san.
It's a known fact that Russia has paid trolls working various social media sites. So it's only logical to assume that they'd be on a major site like this one. That said, not all of these fools are likely being paid for it. Some might not even be connected to Russia at all. They may just simply be common, everyday, know-nothing morons, who actually believe in their hearts that KGB Putin is a force for good in the world, regardless of the facts about the numerous evil things he has done, and is doing.
So we believe CBS and not the US Navy ?
I believe neither.
