I have asked, 'Who was Mifsud's control officer?' ... My theory is that he works for Italian DIS or an affiliate, but was on loan to Five Eyes; given that, was his control officer in this operation Steele (Britain) or Halper (U.S.)
Why did the chief of GCHQ resign? Why did an ex-MI6 Control {'C'} end up with egg on his face?
If Christopher Steele was Joseph Mifsud's control officer then MI6 and the Foreign Ministry are directly implicated. Why? Because Italian DIS would NOT loan an asset to a retired ex- rogue intel operative - Christopher Steele. IOW, it would prove that Steele was still an active operative.
As I said a little while back, it is time to stop calling Christopher Steele an 'ex-intel officer'. He was set up to allow the Brits a path to credible deniability. The evidence that he was an active operative is that the head of GCHQ quit and a retired 'C' was embarrassed. Probably Steele screwed up.
Just as Julian Assange could finger Seth Rich as the source for the DNC hack, Christopher Steele could finger the British Foreign Ministry et al as conspirators in the U.S. DS coup.
