I don’t think Rush thinks that DJT can win Kali-Fornia; the idea is to showcase what happens when Democrats are in charge!
Kali-Fornia has, literally, gone to Hell in a handbasket while the Democrats were had total control of the levers of power there.
POTUS showcasing the filth, rats, rot and disease will send a powerful message to the rest of America: DON’T ELECT DEMOCRATS FOR ANY OFFICE!
The one thing going to CA would do, as Rush explained, is EXPOSE the rest of America to the BS lies which Democrats are spewing about the greatness of their plans and policies!
Their is no better way to demonstrate the utter FAILURE that is Democrat policies than those exposing their cities to PRIME TIME interviews and demonstrations!

I think he should come here to Ca and Publicly Humiliate the Politicians by telling the Truth about what they have done to this State, A WARNING to the Rest of the Country what will happen if they take over.
I think POTUS would still get a warm welcome in San Diego. He should have a rally there.

Back to the second problem for states that both abut California or now states that import California’s businesses and move many employees to live in the formerly no-tax or low-tax states attractive to businesses with a good and sometimes much cheaper standard of living — you’ve just imported liberal business owners and employees and they continue voting for the same liberal policies and politicians that promise Christmas morning each and every day, to everyone who wants “more free stuff” and bankrupted their state, giving OPM! Believe you me, politicians sit up and take notice, especially if those states, counties and cities have any kind of budget surplus’s or “rainy day funds” set back for that “rainy day!”

The Democrats took 7 House seats in California - all of which could be recovered in 2020 with an emboldened instead of demoralized CA GOP. Trump could then have 7 more solid supporters in the House, of the 19 he needs to flip the House back. Most of these are in Southern CA, so repeated short visits could make a huge impact.

Trump: This is what the democrat party has brought. A state with a city sized number of homeless, high taxes, electricity blackouts, road lanes removed, no plans on building reservoirs but a plan to cut your use of water.
Dot # 1 is the massive invasion of illegal aliens in Cali and ..
Dot # 2 is the explosive expansion of homeless in Cali.
Stated simply, illegal aliens displace those of modest means from modestly priced housing; and they take many of the unskilled jobs.
Illegal aliens increase the demand for housing (hey, thanks for nothing, HUD), driving up prices and erasing availability. Much more attention should be given to the connection between illegal aliens and the tragic rise in homelessness.
(Yes, there are many reasons for homelessness, but this is a biggie I most strongly suspect.)
