I live in Colorado (suburban Denver) and find a lot of the comments on this thread to be anecdotal at best. Auto insurance rates have NOT sky rocketed in this state. There are PLENTY of great guys who are not stoners here. It's well known that Denver is known as "Menver" bc so many guys have been attracted to the ski slopes/ hiking/ biking/ climbing and other outdoor activities for years. This was going on long before MJ was legal in the state. I also think statistics are skewed b/c there are certainly people who visit or have moved here b/c of legal weed.

I have had my medical license for many years- long before we had legal pot. I don't smoke weed but have found relief with CBD and THC oils, tinctures and salves. States that have medical weed available have lower rates of opioid use and seniors are a huge consumer of weed products.

Everyone just needs to keep their minds open on all this. As with any big change, there are bumps in the road. Overall, I think it has been a positive experience for Colorado and I support it.

Yours is a voice of reason...

I live in MO and have started looking for a place to buy in Illinois since rec pot will become law on Jan 1.

My sister currently uses prescription opioids for pain and I would like to get her off of that stuff.

Got some legal edibles in Colorado and it does help her...

Trading opioid use in for THC use is a no-brainer IMO.

THC and Ibuprofen are a great team :-)
