Gay is an ACTION, not a state of being. No one IS gay. Some people do gay things. There is no gay gene.
Some people are rejected by the opposite sex, and try the gay thing. Some stick with it, and tell themselves they were born gay. They get the special privileges that go with being in a victim group.
