John Dean on Trump calling him a 'loser' and 'sleazebag': 'I'm honored to be on his enemies list'

Former Nixon White House counsel John Dean said Monday, after testifying before the House Judiciary Committee, that he is "honored" to be considered an enemy by President Trump.

Dean, a CNN contributor, was asked by Anderson Cooper about Trump attacking him as a "loser for many years" and a "sleazebag attorney."

"I think he was disbarred and he went to prison. Other than that, he's doing a great job," Trump said Monday afternoon.

I thought I read something about Dean becoming a “contrite” Christian. Did I mix him up with someone else?

You might be thinking of Chuck Colson who while in prison got saved and started a prison ministry. I believe he never abandoned the Republican party. Though he's dead and it's hard to say what someone would say, from everything I know about him, I think he would have gotten a hoot out of Trump and would be a supporter.
