My step sister Jan was recently diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Over the weekend she was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and her condition has been deteriorating rapidly. At this point we are bracing for the worst. Your prayers are deeply appreciated.
Prayerful Bump.

Prayers up!
Praying that she recovers soon and well, surprising all her doctors.
It can happen, and sometimes it does happen.
Best wishes for a miraculous recovery.
Prayers....
Dear Lord in Heaven,
We come before You today to humbly beg your protection over Jan and her family as they confront this terrible disease. As imperfect and flawed people we have no right to expect Your healing but we would ask that in Your Infinite Mercy that You would extend Your healing to Jan and Your comfort to those who love her.
This we pray.
Lifting all up in prayers
Prayers up.
Prayers offered for Jan and all who love her.
Prayers for her recovery.
two medicines can help slow the progression of the lung damage,
pirfenidone (Esbriet) and nintedanib (Ofev).
oxygen of course can help .. easy too.
the pneumonia could be the immediate cause for concern...
see if the docs can figure out how to really knock it down, if they can?
then get a consultation at one of the best research hospitals dealing with this condition, there are 26 of them in the ipfnet
i think it is probably incurable but if the pneumonia is knocked back, then she probably will have some time to at least try the meds above...oxygen .. and get an expert consult
Prayers for Jan’s return to health.
Prayers for Jan and all in your family. One of my relatives has pulmonary fibrosis, and her disease waxes and wanes, coming in flares with years separating good and bad. Will pray for the same for Jan.
Prayer said for Jan, and for the Good Lord to lead and guide her doctors. Please keep,us posted.
O dear God, please help Jan and her family. Living, we live for the Lord. Dying, we die for the Lord. So that, living or dying, we are the Lord’s. Amen.
Prayers up for all.
Prayers up for all.
