The book “Silent Coup” by Leon Colodny and another guy covers it. They were investigative reporters, and I think started the book off on another theory and started interviewing people, looking at the evidence, etc.
Probably 50 pages at the end of the book is a reference of all of their interviews, etc.
IIRC, Woodward denied ever being in the military. In fact, he was a Navy(?) radioman, and worked for Haig. Woodward would intercept messages from the State Department (esp. with Kissinger) and relay them to Haig. The military (Haig) hated the secret negotiations that Nixon and Kissinger were doing.
I never fully trusted these two.
After Clinton came along, I considered them frauds.
What they did to Clinton they claimed to be for the good of the nation.
Then they folded their hands in their lap and ignored Clinton.
Woodward actually stated that Clinton hadn’t done 1/10th what Nixon did, for a reason why he never went to work revealing his actions.
I’d flip that and say Nixon didn’t do 1/100 of what Clinton did.
Makes one wonder again about Nellie Ohr's HAM radio
