In an effort to placate the partys increasingly unhinged Left-wing base, Democrats in the House will hold what critics are calling fake impeachment hearings on Monday, though one Republican is reminding a powerful committee chairman of the chambers rules regarding the treatment of the president.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) will hold a hearing featuring Watergate-era stoolie and convict John Dean, reputed to be the one who brought down President Richard Nixon though in reality, it was a series of tapes in which Nixon discussed obstructing justice and other crimes that actually did him in.
The hearing, Lessons from the Mueller Report: Presidential Obstruction and Other Crimes, is liable to be nothing more than a Democrat hate-fest aimed at convicting POTUS Donald Trump of similar crimes in the court of public opinion, critics noted.

It’s a shame the dems can’t or won’t put the same effort into doing something useful, like fixing our immigration policy. But I must admit republicans are not much better when they could have addressed the immigration problem when they had control of the house but did nothing.

The break-in at Watergate was to retrieve files on John Dean’s future wife who was listed among prostitutes used by the DNC to entertain bigwigs.
Nixon had no knowledge of the break-in.
John Dean sent the plumbers in to cover for his future wife.

Neither party wants to fix the problems with our immigration laws because they both wrote them to be hard to enforce on purpose.
The illegal alien inundation was intentional.

Truth to be told, members of the House and Senate are given WIDE latitude in the remarks they make, if it is first stated in the well of the Senate or the floor of the House. This goes back to old English common law, in which it was deemed lawful to make even treasonous remarks on the floor of Parliament, just to make the case.
One of the reasons that the King would dissolve Parliament from time to time.

“House rules forbidding ridicule of the president”
So Collins is bringing that up TODAY? Where was he in January 2017?
And what’s the penalty for violating the House Rules? Is there a penalty?
