That’s high praise from a Bush League Republican.
You got that right, I was amazed.
Yet GOP Senator Ted Cruz joined the traitorous Republican Senators who publicly opposed POTUS Trump on this (while the POTUS was overseas for the D Day Remembrance).
Disclaimer: I was a Cruzer before I was a Trumpster. Well, for a few Months anyway.
He did go on to state his opposition to tariffs in general but not in this case, and he’s entitled to his opinion, but the fact is he still praised Trump.
That it should have to be news when an R does praise Trump is what hurts.
Johnson gets a lot of flack around here....perhaps deservedly so. I don’t follow his record with complete scrutiny.
HOWEVER.....one thing is true. He was, before becoming a senator, a legitimate CEO. I forget the business, but that’s my recollection. He was a credible businessman, who entered politics to try to help.
PERHAPS...perhaps because of his similar background, he is able to see what Trump is up to here.
I’d like to think that is the case. :)
