I guess the WV Governor's deadbeat past has caught up with him. Although Justice has an "R" after his name, his political allegiance is flexible to whatever party he sees as being of personal benefit. This turn of events will make Justjce's reelection in 2020 as a Republican problematic. The question becomes will Justice's troubles create problems for Trump in winning WV's electoral votes next year.

Headline sounded like the sheriffs were seizing Justice department assets.

Was this governor connected to the Rockefellers in W. Va.

A Rockfeller was governor of Arkansas in the 1970's as I recall.

Then the Clintons's came to power in Arkansas in the 1980's.

Just curious.

Is he a deadbeat of a guy that put his personal assets on the line to financially secure a company?

Two observations:

1. Never make a personal guarantee for a corporation’s debts.

2. How much of the problems his companies had were due to Obama’s EPA regulating his coal mining company out of business? While laws requiring notice of layoffs sound nice, how could he have know of the death penalty he was given late in Obama’s presidency?

Gov. Deal in Georgia leveraged the governor’s office to go from being several million dollars underwater to being a multi-millionaire.

Classic WVA politics. Governor with a name out of Little Orphan Anny whose relationship with parties and the truth is highly fungible. The same since the days of Davis and Elkins.
