"Mexican Official Leading Tariff Negotiations Compared Trump To Hitler, Called Him Mexico’s ‘Enemy’
9:10 PM 06/01/2019

The top Mexican official leading negotiations with the U.S. over President Donald Trump’s newly announced tariffs previously compared Trump to Hitler and described him as an “enemy” of Mexico.

Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard arrived at the Mexican embassy on Saturday and is scheduled to meet with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday, Ebrard announced on Twitter.
https://dailycaller.com/2019/06/01/mexico-tariffs-marcelo-ebrard-trump-hitler-enemy/

His tweets...

Trump es el peor enemigo que México haya enfrentado en muchos años. Debemos esforzarnos para frenarlo con votos en E.U.A.— Marcelo Ebrard C. (@m_ebrard) October 31, 2016

Translation: "Trump is the worst enemy that Mexico has faced in many years. We must strive to stop it with votes in the United States."

Also...

Cada voto cuenta, apoyemos a Hillary Clinton. Derrotemos la xenofobia anti mexicana de Trump pic.twitter.com/Qpb314m3Qq— Marcelo Ebrard C. (@m_ebrard) October 29, 2016

Translation: "Every vote counts, let's support Hillary Clinton. Defeat Trump's anti-Mexican xenophobia"

He asked Mexican's to support Hillary? Foreign influence on our election!

It was not clear why Trump was suddenly tying the tariffs to trade issues rather than to Mexico’s ability to halt illegal immigration

I am also confused by the linkage. I trust Trump.

It’s a pivot. He can’t get the Senate onboard the NAFTA changes, so he’s going to make it part of the tariff deal.

Trump really does operate in multiple dimensions all at the same time.

I guess that makes sense then. I didn’t know what the hold up on the NAFTA replacement deal was.

He should levy the 5% regardless. His hand is that much stronger in a month when they know it’s not just a threat. Too bad no one in washer supports him on this.

Doesn’t sound like he’s “softening his tone” to me, simply re-iterating his stance.

As an aside it’s really bizarre to see Americans take the side of illegal aliens as their default position.

Yet all the nervous nellies are yelling their heads off worried about the effects of tariffs on America.

The LA Times is reporting right now that the Trump WH has announced it will hit Mexico with tariffs.

And speaking of milquetoasts...Here’s looking at you, Senators Cruz and Cornholio of Texas. I voted for you guys, and at the first sign of any difficulties you two chickenshits turned tail and ran away.

Great, lay down the law! Hold the reins on Mr. Cruz. His too big for his Oratory sometimes. I guess he still owes quite a bit to his Golden Sacks and Koch Brother masters.

Thank God, Trump is not owned by anyone.

Have a little faith, Trump knows what he is doing and he is working to stop the invasion.
