Oh, I got it all right. You and I, nevertheless, vote logically. Others do as well. If we represented the large majority of voters, campaigns would be directed to our logical approach to voting. As you note, 19Am introduced large numbers of emotional voters, and campaigns became even more emotionally oriented. So I can’t agree that logical voting ended (some people still do it) … but I can agree that emotional voting and emotional campaigning have become predominant. Campaigning, IMO, has become almost exclusively emotionally oriented.
This should NOT happen to anyone whether they voted for Trump, Hillary, Bernie, or Sponge Bob Square Pants.
This is un-American.

Back in the day people would always put bumper stickers on their cars or wear hats or buttons of their candidate. Nobody worried about it, no problem.
But these things are not possible to do today- thanks to the Fascist democrat party marxist radicals. Nobody wants to have their car keyed, or end up in a fist fight or worse with some rabid, foaming at the mouth leftist.
They can't debate ideas because they won't tell people what their true goals are:
We (democrats) want to take away everything you have, and control everything you do. (We also want to control everything you think, and everything you say.) It's for your own good because we are better than you, (You smell, and you shop at Walmart), and you are too stupid to run your own lives.

This also explains why they almost always talk over the person who has an opposing view, whenever they appear as a guest on a tv or radio show.
And all the panelists, after looking at shock at Tikva, evetually say in unison “Orange man bad!” and then “3...4...1...8... who taught Tikva how to hate!?” before they ripped up a MAGA hat with their teeth.

Some of these anti-semites are in for a very painful surprise in the future. More Jews are taking self-defense courses including in the possession and use of firearms.
My grandchildren, even at the elementary school level, are encountering young kids with all kinds of mental problems ranging from being called vile things from kids they don’t even know to threats of violence (one of my grandchildren decked one such fool and the lesson was learned. What the assailant didn’t know was the my granddaughter had a couple of belts in Karate).
My grandson is legally blind and has faced harassment from similar assholes. His antagonists are learning some hard lessons now and are lucky he didn’t go “Negan” on them (because he knows how to defend himself even if he can’t see so well).
That family is well legally armed with CCP, with the father being a combat veteran of two wars.
We protect our kids and even other children when we can. That’s the right thing to do, and we will show damned little mercy to our enemies.

Predictable. In some ways it's a great privilege to be able to vote, whether for Trump or Hillary. The left hopes to destroy that, which is what this aggressive public shaming is about.

See this is really the problem, because these people can't see their own hypocrisy. They "justify" their intolerance, even embrace it, saying that "we shouldn't be tolerant of intolerance". "We should be intolerant of hatred".
This is the meme now, the big umbrella that covers everything, from the damaged property during their protests, to the physical violence against people not of their mindset, to even their rejection of being (correctly) described as Fascists. "WE aren't Fascist " they claim, "we are OPPOSING fascism with justified means"
This is what it's come to, this is the level of "discourse". And it's probably not going to end too well in a few decades time. I hope to be dead by then, or at least safely retired somewhere out of the direct line of fire.
