When the cat’s away, the mouse will play. Substitute-hosting on Morning Joe, Willie Geist says that Dems calling John Dean to testify makes Pres. Trump’s point that hearings are just a “clown show.”
Kasie Hunt doesn’t disagree, and also takes a shot at Nadler and Schiff, saying they are “not necessarily made for television.” Ouch!
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.

Apparently, no one from Pres. Andrew Johnson’s impeachment hearings was available to testify. ;-)

Watergate was the ultimate Liberal wet dream and the dress rehersal for all their monkeyshines ever since.
It was back when there was NO internet and the MSM had it all their own way. Careers were made doing that stuff

He could ask “What did President Obama know and when did he know it?”

Is Mo Dean still turning tricks?

Discussing the matter with Kasie Hunt, Geist first suggested that the only point of having Dean testify was "for symbolism." A bit later, he unleashed this zinger: "Unless John Dean has new information, or can testify specifically about something that happened in the Mueller investigation, does this not add to President Trumps argument that it's just a big a clown show?" They better hope this story gets blackballed and ignored because if this MSNBC host is revealed to be offering fair and balanced news their ratings could rise.

Well, why not? I understand that the Democrats are also going to subpoena Douglas MacArthur and Warren Harding.

I laughed out loud when I heard John Dean was being called to “testify.”

Even sometimes goofy, liberal Geist may be somewhat aware and cognizant of the fact that having Dean testify would be a new aspect of the much larger “Clown World” we all find ourselves in...

Hell, why not just have Alec Baldwin come do his Trump bit. And then a hologram of Micheal Jackson implicating the President in his death. And the a lion tamer

Benedict Arnold was a Trump voter - I heard it on NPR. Dig him up.

John Dean ranks up there as about one of the most despicable human beings of my generation...actually he’s older.
He’s on the same par with Carl Bernstein. Woodward is not as slimy as those two, but close.
Yeah, I’d say having this asshat makes it look like the real clown show.
ANYONE HEAR THAT COMPLETE JOKE, DEMOCRAT SONGBIRD ON THAT FOX SHOW TODAY? She’s a ridiculous. They must get these people, like her and Juan Williams to make the left look crazy dumb as hell.
No person supposedly with a degree can possibly be this stupid...and be taken seriously in a real newsroom...

“Silent Coup” is that era’s version of the internet take down of Dan Rather. It withstood many court challenges, but finally succumbed to something or other.

When I saw the headline yesterday that Nadler wants to call John Dean -- John Dean! -- I thought to myself, "Ah, Babylon Bee knocks another one out of the park!"
And then I found out that it was real.

...does this not add to President Trumps argument that it's just a big a clown show? Only if Republicans follow it up by calling G. Gordon Liddy (88) to testify.
