First large group from Africa apprehended
DEL RIO, Texas U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Del Rio Station apprehended a large group of 116 individuals Thursday.
Large groups present a unique challenge for the men and women of the Del Rio Sector, said Chief Raul Ortiz. This large group from Africa further demonstrates the complexity and severity of the border security and humanitarian crisis at our Southwest border.
Agents performing line watch operations apprehended the group after they illegally crossed the Rio Grande into the U.S. around 10:30 p.m.
This is the first large group apprehended in the Del Rio Sector and the first large group of people from Africa including nationals from Angola, Cameroon and Congo - apprehended on the Southwest border this year.
Agents have encountered 182 large groups of more than 100 individuals across the Southwest border so far this fiscal year.

And the ComDem remain in denial.
So much for Mexican "cooperation"?
How?
I simply don’t know how they could enter Mexico without being noticed.
The Soros/Koch/Obama/Bush/Bergoglio globalist demographic repopulation of the United States.
Better quarantine them for Ebola.
I am not familiar with the volume of crossings in the Del Rio area but if you intentionally crossed there you had transportation to that area for sure.
Del Rio is at the corner of No and Where.
No way to walk out after crossing so they are intending to go the asylum route which means intentionally exposing PB personnel to whatever they have got.
.
Collusion?
Yes. Criminal
Yes. Very serious health risks.
Yes. And THIS is Texas.
Fwiw,
I talked to a Texas Border Volunteers guy at the last SA gun show who told me that he encountered & turned-in to the Texas DPS officers a group of 116 OTMs (Border shorthand for “Other Than Mexican”) & ALL of the group claimed to be “Mexicans farm workers, who were coming to the USA to pick fruit”.
Tomas said that he thought that it was amusing that NONE of the “Mexican fruit pickers” knew any SPANISH whatever but obviously had been “briefed” that farm laborers from Mexico generally get “sent back across the line” with no muss, no fuss, later reenter the USA illegally & continue to reenter illegally until they succeed in entering the interior of the USA to stay.
NOTE: I’m from a “farm family” out of Cam County, Texas & favor a “temporary farm labor program” that LEGALIZES the REAL migrant laborers to come to the USA, get registered/photographed/fingerprinted/issued a “Temporary Farm Labor ID card” & remain in the USA BUT only so long as they have an ACTUAL farm labor job.
(Failure to leave the USA at the end of the picking season would mean, if I had my way, being DEPORTED for not less than 3-5 years & LOCKED UP if they return after being deported.)
Yours, TMN78247 ..
please I’ll take two mexicans over one african any day of the week...they can not and will not assimilate..
These criminals should immediately be tossed back over the border minus their shoes and cell phones.
My blood boils at these reports that we have "apprehended" anyone. We are running a Welcome Wagon.
I grew up in ranch country where Del Rio was the closest real town-it is still BFE and not hospitable if you don’t know the terrain-so these Africans definately paid some cartel to bring them through Mexico to the border-and you can bet your ass they had assistance from some clueless charity organization all the way from Africa to Guatamala, because they sure didn’t swim to S or central America-these dumbass charities need to be slapped down hard...
Who is paying their way?
Quarantine them for Ebola.
I also grew up in the area. Old Sheriff Koog used to let the cartels run their drugs through the county as long as they did not stay in the county.
Also - Lake Amistad, pretty humorous considering the movie Amistad. Very easy to cross, especially at night. I would also say that Africans would stick out in the community.
