So, I get my auto parts from Advance auto parts. If they go under, I get them from Oreiley’s.

That’s a poor comparison. Both get their parts from the same places.

The problem is that China is the sole supplier of ingredients (thousands) of medications manufactured everywhere. No “shopping around” would be possible if China suddenly curtailed the ingredient supply (or made them exhorbitantly expensive).
