Confirmed: U.S. Attorney John Huber never started the ‘Spygate’ probe Sessions assigned to him
The National Sentinel ^ | 5/31/19 | Jon Dougherty

You may recall that about a year into failed Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ tenure with the Trump administration he rebuffed several calls from members of Congress to appoint a U.S. attorney ‘outside the Beltway’ to investigate abuses by the Obama regime and the 2016 Clinton campaign regarding “Spygate.”

That attorney, John Huber of Utah, was supposedly a ‘special prosecutor in all but name,’ Sessions said at the time. He claimed Huber will be using all of “his prosecutorial powers” to conduct a wide-ranging investigation into alleged abuses that extend well beyond suspected FISA court improprieties.

“I am confident that Mr. Huber’s review will include a full, complete, and objective evaluation of these matters in a manner that is consistent with the law and the facts,” Sessions announced in late March 2018.

And then…crickets.

Trump obviously believed he did more than that or he never would have given him the AG job.

Unfortunately for Trump, no amount of campaign work he did, nominal or extensive could make up for his incompetence as AG.

Heard Louie Gohmert comment on this at a recent event and he felt that Jeff Sessions was very naive and was talked into recusing himself by the Deep State Lifers at the DOJ. I personally think he was blackmailed into recusing himself after Rosenstein was appointed that put the Mueller fiasco into motion.

I think that the new guy Durham wants Mueller’s scalp because he couldn’t get at him for the Whitey Bulger fiasco.

.

Huber is a Fraud.

Sessions was told they had dirt on him, he turned over everything to the Deep State and was AWOL for his time there.

Why wouldn’t Huber tell the House Republicans that he hadn’t done anything? Because he was only blocking a real Investigation.

Horowitz is a joke.

Some refer to him as.... “An Insurance Policy”

There were several policies issued....

I don’t think he’s saying the right things. In his recent interview with CBS he went out of his way to evade the fact that in “Bob” Mueller’s presser this week he called Barr a liar re OLC and not indicting a sitting POTUS, and clearly suggested to the Rats some things they might use to cobble up grounds for impeachment. Barr soft-pedaled it, saying “Bob” merely emphasized a few important points. I no longer feel confident. They’ve been bestys for 30 years. Get a clue.

I guess the plan has been to just stall until next election, and redouble their efforts at cheating to make sure they beat Trump this time around.

That’s EXACTLY the plan. And it’s bipartisan. Where are those kick butt hearings Graham was promising? Still no sign of them. It was nice to see Graham praising Mueller the very day he smeared Barr as a liar while handing his baton to the Dem House.

Blackmail? More likely a little pillow talk from a wife who didn’t want to lose a lifetime of beltway friends due to AG Sessions support of POTUS. We need lions and we got a lamb in Sessions, sadly.

Interesting point. One thing for sure, Durham is a bad a$$ and there’s certainly no love loss between those two.

Now we know why Huber refused to show up for a congressional inquiry as to if he was doing anything or not.

William Barr interview: Read the full transcriptJAN CRAWFORD: Um, what's the status of Huber's investigation in Utah? I think the former Attorney General Sessions had asked him to look at this.

WILLIAM BARR: Right, so Huber had originally been asked to take a look at the FISA applications and the electronic surveillance but then he stood back and put that on hold while the Office of Inspector General was conducting its review, which would've been normal for the department. And he was essentially on standby in case Mr. Horowitz referred a matter to him to be handled criminally. So he has not been active on this front in recent months and so Durham is taking over that role. The other issues he's been working on relate to Hillary Clinton. Those are winding down and hopefully we'll be in a position to bring those to fruition.

You sure can get a better picture of things when you go to the original source instead of second hand accounts of events.

It’s not as simple as other countries ban what the U.S. allows. For any given substance, various countries may ban it, and various countries may not. Whenever the U.S. bans a substance, you’d better believe every nation on Earth that has not banned it screams bloody blue murder that we’re taking illegal trade sanctions against them. (Shutting them up a little may be a favorable side-effect of Trump’s America First trade policies.)

Gluten seems to be nonsense. Same with HFCS. I understand that azodicarbonamide itself has been found to sensitize people towards asthma, but this is a danger for those exposed to it in manufacture; it breaks down in food so it is not present when consumed. And the breakdown products include urethane! More studies might be prudent.

Likewise, Potassium Bromate should not persist in food, but may persist if too much is added or if the food is not fully cooked. (This would seem to me to be an issue for supermarket bakeries, which seem to often undercook food.) Look for “bromated flour” as an ingredient. The article says Pillsbury uses it in its breadstick dough; this is alarming since I KNOW home-cooked pillsbury products can be undercooked!!!

OIG: Prosecution of the DAD was declined. Ha, ha...

Huber was waiting on the OIG. Instead of working he declined to prosecute McCabe. I guess he was too busy or something.

McCabe is off Scot Free (DAD in question). Lying, leaking to the press (to undermine a sitting president), accepting bribes from the press, etc. No biggie. Rinse and repeat this for the rest.

If you see nothing come from the Inspector General report you can expect Barr is doing his best Sessions imitation, huff and puff and smack a few hands with hey you get to retire early at full benefits and allow the coup plotters to walk free and the dual track justice system to be institutionalized. The bureaucratic Praetorian Guard will then have free rein to do whatever they want to any citizen they deem an enemy to the state and THEY will chose who is to be president.

...how come Durham has the authority to investigate but Huber had to defer to Horowitz...

Horowitz is about to release his report. Barr has probably already seen it and he made the decision to roll it over to Durham while Huber continued with what he was doing.

Are people really this stupid?!

Huber will continue to do what he was doing? Really?

Barr said that Huber has been inactive. Barr said that Huber's role is done.

Therefor Huber hasn't done anything on these matters and he won't do anything in the future.

Are people really this stupid?!

A few are.
