Mueller offers sly impeachment bait
American Thinker ^ | May 29, 2019 | Thomas Lifson

Robert Mueller's 11 A.M. statement to the media today stuck to what was in his report (which he said "speaks for itself") but selectively highlighted and sequenced points intended to damage President Trump, providing obvious bait for impeachment proceedings. Here is one example (transcript):

[I]f we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so. We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the president did commit a crime.

I think Mueller's short speech was written by Democrats who hate President Trump and want to see him impeached.

The message of the speech was simple.

There was no evidence of any wrong doing by President Trump.

But we hate him and we don't have definitive proof that he is completely innocent. So therefore, we must impeach him.

Mueller isn’t as smart as he thinks he is. If there are formal impeachment hearings, a lot of dirt will come out about him, from the defense.

He thinks he can take his little potshot, and then beat it back to wherever he intends to retreat to. But it won’t be so easy for him to extricate himself from the tentacles of the swamp in which he has immersed himself.

Agree. Mueller is trash. Look at the innocent men he left in the Mass prison to protect his stool pigeon Bulger. I used to drive past that prison on my way to Ft. Devens, MA in 74-5. I recall locals in Fitchburg and Lunenburg telling me it was no
place to be. It was the pit according two Italians who had a great restaurant.

I believe he knows he is in deep water as Mueller knows full well he failed to accomplish the assigned mission - to uncover Russian collusion. There is solid evidence of Russian collusion only it wasn’t with Trump or the Republican campaign. It was Russian collusion with H. Clinton and Obama. Mueller failed to investigate that fact and thereby failed in his job as Special Counsel. Maybe he fears his failure will be publicized and his name will go down the gutter of history. This has monumental consequences.

Mueller looked scared. He should be. He thought, along with Comey and his ilk, Hillary would win, all would be swept under the rug, they wold all cash in.

Now he is about to drown in the swamp he has been a part of most of his life. He is a small fish in the sharks are circling.

Louie Gohmert just released a document listing all of Mueller’s dirty deeds from the past. I Haven’t had a chance to read it yet, just found it this morning, planning to open it later tonight, already downloaded and sitting in a folder...

Can be downloaded from here

Might be interesting, thought the folks here might want to have a look. Might already be posted here I don’t know, haven’t looked yet...

Monumental is the word.

I don’t think these idiot Democrats and their media lackeys have any idea how much they damage themselves with this two-year giant lying exercise trying to turn Trump into Dick Nixon

[I]f we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so. We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the president did commit a crime...this has got to be about the most weaselly stab-in-the-back finding of any kangaroo court investigation ever - no one can ever have confidence that someone clearly did not commit a crime - there could always be something one was not aware of that would betray the confidence - and it's obvious no determination was made of whether the president committed a crime because none was stated - two truisms strung together to imply there was more to be determined and that someone - congress - should do the determining - Mueller's attempt to goad the House toward impeachment because the people weren't sufficiently aroused by his original report - disgraceful.....

Well, the Media facilitated the smearing of Ken Starr. It’s not likely that they’d be willing to do the same for Mueller, though he richly deserves it.

He pretty much said that with 10’s of millions and 2 years, he failed to achieve his goal of effecting a coup via the “Justice” system...
